Nearly 60 people listed as homeless in Tipp

There were 59 people homeless in Tipperary in January.

9,150 people accessed emergency accommodation nationally during the month – a 2 percent increase on December.

Tipperary falls into the South East region which had a total of 215 registered as homeless overall, 23 of which were families.

The total from the Department of Housing does not include numbers of rough sleepers, those in direct provision or women in refuge centres.
