A win on Sunday would complete the journey the Tipperary junior camogie team has been on.
That’s according to their manager Bill Mullaney who’s been speaking ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland Premier Junior camogie final against Laois.
The Premier were beaten in last year’s decider by Clare and are back in the final with a new look squad, with just two starters remaining from last year.
Bill Mullaney says a win on Sunday would cap off the team’s journey over the last few years.
“For the group, it would be unreal for them and I think they deserve it.
“They have worked very hard and I think it’s just capping it off with the girls from last year have just set up for us to try go in and win it but we still have to go in and win it, it’s not going to be handed to us, Laois are a very tough team.
“It would crown it for us and crown it for them and I think to win a final now would just complete it.”
Throw-in on Sunday is at 1.05pm and we’ll have full live commentary on Tipp FM with thanks to Casey Tiles, Cahir Business Park, Cahir.
