He was a back seat passenger in a car that left the road and hit a tree at Boston on the Ballingarry to Cloughjordan road on Tuesday afternoon.

Adam’s mother Sharon has posted a message on her Facebook page pleading with people to wear a seatbelt.

Offaly County Councillor Peter Ormond says the community around Shinrone is in shock.

Speaking on Tipp Today he echoed Sharon Case’s plea.
