Minor works grant approved for 158 Tipperary schools

Minor Works Grants have been approved for 158 Primary schools across Tipperary.

The badly needed funds will mean almost 6,500 Euro for a 50 pupil school with in excess of 11,000 for schools with 300 students.

The money will be paid to schools next week.

The confirmation from the Education Minister has been welcomed by Tipperary TD Mattie McGrath – however he has concerns about future funding following comments from Richard Bruton.
