Loughmore Castleiney defeated Kilsheelan Kilcash 2-12 to 0-7 in the County Senior Football championship in Leahy Park Cashel last night.
The reigning Mid champions held the advantage throughout leading 1-5 to 0-4 at the break.

Both teams are through to the knockout stages of the football championship with Loughmore back in hurling action next Sunday against Thurles Sarsfields in the Mid final where they will aim to do the divisional double.

Meanwhile in Shallee, Templederry Kenyons were victorious in the North Tipp Junior B Hurling final after they fired four second half goals past Silvermines to claim victory on a 4-10 to 2-13 scoreline.
