Michelin Star for Clonmel chef

A Tipperary chef has won a prestigious Michelin Star for his London bistro.

Former Clonmel High School student Luke Ahearne was among those honoured at the 2025 awards ceremony.

The 32 year old opened bistro Lita in Marylebone last March and has already made quite a name for himself.

Meanwhile The Bishop’s Buttery at the Cashel Palace Hotel has retained its Michelin Star.
