Michael Cahill and Cathal Barrett could return for Tipp against Kilkenny

Tipp’s fourth round National Hurling League tie against Kilkenny next weekend could see Michael Cahill and Cathal Barrett return to the fold.

Cahill had been in line to make his return to senior inter-county hurling against Wexford, and was named in the starting 15 – however was replaced before the throw in.

Meanwhile Cathal Barrett was togged and ready to enter the fray just moment before the final whistle – however a decision was made to keep him for next weekend.
