Mayor Michael Murphy wants a huge turnout tomorrow morning.

“I’m asking, appealing, reaching out to the citizens of Clonmel, citizens of Tipperary – come to the Kickham Barracks Plaza tomorrow. We’re hoping to have the mother and father of all crowds there to cheer Daire on.

“Its extraordinary for Clonmel Rowing Club – one of the most historic sporting clubs in the country not just in Clonmel dating back to 1869.”
