The number of patients left without a bed at University Hospital Limerick has topped 100.
The hospital which serves North Tipp had seen numbers ease considerably following the cancellation of all non-urgent care on August 8th in a bid to tackle the overcrowding crisis.

At one point the trolley numbers fell to just 12 but have been steadily increasing following the resumption of scheduled care across the UL Hospital Group.
Today 102 people who have been admitted to the Dooradoyle facility are being cared for on trolleys while nationally the figure is 490.
According to the INMO there are 11 patients without a bed at TUH in Clonmel.
