Managers unhappy with timing of South Senior final

Extra time failed to separate Clonmel Commercials and Moyle Rovers in this afternoons 2017 South Senior football final.

The game was 45 minutes late starting due to the freezing weather conditions at the Clonmel Sportsfield.

It finished all square at 6 points each at the end of normal time with both sides adding two points in the extra time to leave it 8 points apiece

Afterwards Commercials manager Charlie McGeever was scathing in his reaction to the game even going ahead at this time of year.

For his part Moyle Rovers manager Niall Fitzgerald was also unhappy with the timing of the game.
