There are nearly 90 patients without a bed at the two main hospitals serving Tipperary today.
According to the latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are a total of 479 people being cared for on trolleys at hospitals across the country.

University Hospital Limerick – which serves North Tipp – is by far the most overcrowded with 63.
South Tipp General in Clonmel has 24 patients who have been admitted but are still waiting for a bed.
