Maher aiming to be fully fit for April

Tipperary’s Brendan Maher is targeting a return to competitive hurling next April at the latest.

The Borrisoleigh club man has been sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury picked up in the Premiers Munster championship clash with Clare earlier this year.

He says the recovery is going well but he wants to be sure he’s fully fit before lining out for his club or county.
