Clonmel Commercials accounted for Ballyporeen 1-19 to 0-7 while Eire Og Annacarthy were two points winners over Ardfinnan on a 0-13 to 0-11 scoreline.
Last years county finalists Moyle Rovers beat Arravale 0-15 to 1-7 while in New Inn, in a West against South battle, Aherlow Gaels and last years intermediate champions Fethard drew 0-12 a piece.
