Loughmore/Castleiney continue good form whilst county champions Kiladangan get first win of new campaign

Loughmore-Castleiney made it two wins from two in the county senior hurling championship yesterday.

The mid champions defeated Holycross/Ballycahill in The Ragg on a final score of 0-21 to 0-14.

Elsewhere in the senior grade yesterday, reigning county champions Kiladangan recorded their first win of this year’s campaign with a 4-31 to 2-17 win over Templederry Kenyons.

In the premier intermediate grade on Sunday, Cashel King Cormacs had a 3-19 to 0-19 victory over Moyne/Templetuohy, Thurles Sarsfields were 0-24 to 0-18 winners over Boherlahan-Dualla and Clonakenny beat Newport 1-25 to 1-15.

Elsewhere, in the intermediate grade yesterday evening, Borrisokane had a 1-26 to 4-11 win over Skeheenarinky whilst Carrick Davins had a 3-10 to 3-09 win over Upperchurch-Drombane.
