Local hoping for positive news on Ardfinnan bridge

A decision on whether or not a separate walkway will be attached to the bridge in Ardfinnan is due to be made shortly.

Locals are opposed to plans by Tipperary County Council to have traffic lights on the bridge which would be reduced to one lane.

Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin visited the South Tipp village this week to see first hand the situation at the bridge.

Speaking on Tipp Today local Councillor Micheál Anglim said he’s hoping his party leader can bring peoples concerns to the Dáil.
