Rieko Ioane has again tormented the Lions.

The 20-year-old winger, who was part of the Blues side that defeated the Lions earlier this month, scored two second-half tries as the New Zealand beat the tourists by 30-points to 15 at Eden Park.

An 18th minute try from hooker Codie Taylor helped the All-Blacks build a 10-nil lead but Ireland flanker Sean O’Brien finished a flowing counter-attack for a try just before the break to get the Lions back in the game.

Ioane then crossed for tries in the 55th and 69th minutes while out-half Beauden Barrett finished with 15-points.

Rhys Webb scored a consolation try for the Lions in the 80th minute to put some gloss on the scoreboard, but the side still face a mammoth task to claim their first series win in New Zealand since 1971.

The sides meet again in Wellington next weekend.
