The character of the Tipperary senior camogie team will be tested this weekend according to a local analyst.
Geraldine Kinane has been giving her thoughts ahead of the Premier’s trip to away Wexford on Saturday in the All-Ireland championship.
Denis Kelly’s side were beaten by 18-points against reigning champions Cork in their championship opener last weekend.
Speaking on Extra-Time, Geraldine Kinane says the Premier need to get back on track on Saturday:
“We have picked up injuries but this is where the panel comes in to play.
“It’s really going to be a test of character and a test of the team, when the chips are down can they come out fighting.
“There’s people putting their hand up for places on the team, Denis and the management made a host of changes the last day when things were going wrong at half-time.
“We need to do the job against Wexford and get back in to being contenders for this year’s All-Ireland but at the moment we have slipped back and we need to write that wrong now.”
