The Tipperary county hurling championships get underway this Friday evening.
Last year’s champions Kiladangan are aiming to retain the Dan Breen for the first time in the club’s history.
The North champions start the county championship on Saturday at 3.45pm against Clonoulty/Rossmore in Borrisoleigh.
Kiladangan and Tipperary goalkeeper Barry Hogan says coming in as reigning county champions won’t change their preparation for this year’s competition.
“It’s the same preparation for every game really.
“We train as hard as we can every night, every season.
“We were in a similar position in 2021 and we gave that a fair rattle, we were just pipped in a semi-final so there’s no additional pressure it’s just the same championship again, we know how competitive it is so we’re just trying to prepare as best we can now and give it a rattle.”
