Templederry Kenyons ease past Kilruane

Templederry have joined Kiladangan in the North Tipperary Senior championship semifinals.

Last night, the Kenyons claimed a strong victory over Kilruane McDonaghs in Dolla putting 2-26 on the scoreboard compared to their opponents’ 1-19.

They had seven different scorers but the pick of the bunch was county star, Sean Ryan who notched 2-3 from play.

Speaking after the game, Templederry captain Christy Coughlan says the new players in the squad have given them a boost of energy.

“There’s a few of us on the road a while but the new lads that come, we don’t have too many of them but the ones that came in, they really care about it and they bring a lot of energy and passion and every team needs that.”
