Maintaining performances will be Tipperary’s challenge for the remainder of the league and into the championship according to a local analyst.

JJ Kennedy has been giving his thoughts following the Premier’s four point win over Cork in the National Hurling League.

Next up for Liam Cahill’s side is a trip to Kilkenny on March 9th before hosting Clare in their final game two weeks later.

Speaking on Extra-Time, JJ Kennedy says all signs are positive so far:

“In general, over Liam’s three years, and he will be acutely aware of this that all three years they did start off very well because of the work and commitment they put in over the winter period and the way they approach each season.

“Started off very well but along the way then we’ve been tripped up as the thing develops so that will be the challenge from here on in, to play on through the rest of the league and into the championship and hopefully performances won’t dip but I think all the signals at the moment are hugely positive in that regard.”
