Loughmore take on Ballygunner in the Munster senior hurling semi-final on Sunday November 17th at 1.15pm in Walsh Park.

Speaking on last night’s Extra-Time, hurling analyst JJ Kennedy says the return of John Meagher is a big fillip for the county champions:

“He’s back from Australia I understand and back in training with them.

“You’d expect maybe not starting but he is some guy to have there that you could bring in.

“I don’t know if he was hurling out in Australia or whether he was training with a team out there which would obviously have helped but it’s a huge story for them to have him, he’s been an incredible player over the years.

“I’m really looking forward to that semi-final, I think it will be a cracker.”
