This brings to over 13,800 the number of SNA’s in Primary, Post Primary and Special Schools.

25 new Special Needs Assistants will be taken on in Tipperary schools from September bringing the total to 445.

Tipperary TD Michael Lowry says while the announcement was a long time coming it will make a huge difference to the schools in question.
