Waiting lists for housing in the North Tipperary area have fallen.
New figures show that since March the figures have dropped consistantly with the 656 people now waiting for a permanent home down from 695

Of this up to fifty percent are currently renting under the Council’s RAS or HAP housing scheme.
The construction of new homes in Cloughjordan, Newport, Borrisokane, Stereame, Puckane and Portroe is also advancing well..
