More than 555 patients are waiting on trolleys in hospitals around the country today, after figures hit a record high of 677 last week.

The latest figures from the INMO, show the situation is worst at hospitals treating Tipperary patients, particularly at University Hospital Limerick where 55 people have been admitted without a bed.
In Tipperary, there are currently 13 people on trollies at South Tipp General.
Meanwhile, the HSE has confirmed that all interns will be paid for all the hours they work.
