Hospital overcrowding continues unabated

467 people are waiting for beds in hospitals across the country today.

According to the INMO Trolley Watch, 320 are waiting in emergency departments, while 147 are in wards elsewhere in the hospitals.

The worst-hit hospital today is University Hospital Limerick with 75 people waiting for a bed.

Meanwhile South Tipperary General Hospital has 41 patients on trolleys.
