Holycross/Ballycahill crowned Mid Tipp U19A hurling champions

A pair of Robbie Ryan frees late on saw Holycross/Ballycahill see off Thurles Sarsfields in Templemore on a final score line of 0-21 to 2-13.

They now go on to the county semi-final on Sunday where they will play Toomevara at 3pm in Templemore.

Elsewhere last night, Golden-Kilfeacle earned a place in the West U19A hurling final after they beat Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams 2-18 to 3-12.

Meanwhile, Arravale Rovers beat Éire Óg/Sean Treacys 3-13 to 2-14 to win the West U19B hurling final whilst Kilsheelan-Kilcash had a 1-21 to 2-13 to win the South U19B hurling final.
