A search by Mountain rescue groups, aided by Valentia coastguard and dog crews was launched last night but was stood down overnight due to heavy fog.

It resumed at first light with the man being located just before 11 this morning.

Speaking to Tipp FM News, Jimmy Barry from the South East Mountain Rescue gave details of the rescue mission.
