Heavy rainfall sees Michael Hogan tournament cancelled

This year’s Michael Hogan football festival has been cancelled.

The U13 tournament was due to take place this weekend but heavy rainfall has led to the county football board cancelling the event.

Over 60 teams were due to take part in the tournament which was to be held in eight different venues on Saturday.

County football board chairman Conor O’Dwyer says they apologies for any difficulties caused.
