A Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for Tipperary and a number of other counties from tonight.
It will also apply for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Donegal and Connacht from midnight.

Met Éireann is forecasting heavy and persistent rain which could lead to flooding and travel disruption.
The alert will run throughout tomorrow and end at 6am on Wednesday.
