Healy defends use of Oireachtas facilities to print calendars

A Tipperary TD has rejected suggestions that the taxpayer had to foot the bill for 70,000 calendars he had printed.

Deputy Seamus Healy was one of 33 TDs and Senators who used Oireachtas printing facilities to produce 33,000 bespoke Christmas cards and 271,000 calendars last year.

Speaking on Tipp Today earlier the Clonmel based Independent TD said he has in fact been saving the taxpayer money.
