A new 14 million euro plan to improve one of the most dangerous sections of road in County Tipperary has been given the green light.
It will see a complete realignment of a four-kilometre stretch at the Latteragh bends on the Thurles to Nenagh road.

There have been numerous crashes in the area and the road itself is potentially in danger of being washed into the Nenagh River in an future floods.
