Donald Trump and Kamala Harris met in what could be their only debate ahead of November’s US election.
And most of the attention since has been on the former president’s unfounded claims that immigrants in Ohio have been eating people’s pets.
Polling suggests Ms Harris outperformed her rival – with her approval rating rising.
Meanwhile a lecturer at the TUS campus in Clonmel says US voters didn’t even need to hear what was said during last night’s debate between Harris and Trump to know who was performing best.
Pennsylvania native Bernie Goldbach says the body language said it all with Trump the obvious loser.
“Those voters heard that debate last night or they simply watched it with the sound off and they know who got the spanking. Just based on the non-verbal, the posture, the tired look on one side of the stage and the sympathetic, pitying look on the other side of the stage.
“I thought it was the best televised debate ever.”
