The Portroe native stepped down as the manager of Antrim this Summer following a successful stint with the Saffrons.

Gleeson now takes in the role which was vacated by fellow Tipp native Willie Maher who also stepped down following this year’s inter county campaign with Gleeson’s position set to be ratified at the upcoming Laois county committee meeting.
