Gardaí in Tipperary enforcing new road regulations

Drivers are being warned that new road regulations are being enforced in Tipperary over the New Year period.

The laws implemented in October this year mean anyone caught with 50-80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood will be disqualified from driving for three months and receive a €200 fine.

Inspector James White says drivers involved in road incidents will be breathalysed.
