Multiple calls were received at Clonmel Garda station yesterday in relation to horses loose on the Fethard Road in the town.
When officers arrived at the scene they saw a horse running out in front of traffic.

While there they became aware of a young foal which was in poor condition and needed food and medical attention.
All of the horses were seized and are currently receiving the care then need.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
