Gardai are investigating a spate of criminal incidents across the district in the past few days.
On Saturday evening a house was broken into the Springfield area of Powerstown sometime between 7.30 and 8.30 pm. A short time later 2 raiders broke into Lonergan’s Gala shop in Mullinahone and escaped with property from the premises.

Then this morning in Clonmel two cars were targetted in the carpark beside St Mary’s Church in Irishtown while a bike was stolen from outside Penneys.
