Funeral takes place today of Tipp farm accident victim

A Tipperary teenager who was killed in a tragic farm accident at the weekend will be laid to rest today.

Patrick McCormack from Ryninch, Ballina is understood to have fallen from a tractor on a family member’s farm near Newtown on Sunday afternoon.

The 15 year old Junior Cert student at St Anne’s College in Killaloe will be buried in Templekelly cemetery following 12 noon mass today in Our Lady and St Lua’s Church Ballina.

Gardaí say significant delays can be expected in Ballina – Killaloe this afternoon due to the funeral.
