Cahir based Councillor Andy Moloney is pressing the importance of allocating funding to community sporting groups.

Without such funding, smaller villages risk losing their voluntary “meet and train” groups.

Cllr Moloney called on the Tipperary Sports Partnership to make some funding available for such insurance.
