There’s been a broad welcome to the news that Clonmel will now be offering free Public Wifi.
The announcement was made this morning by Virgin Media who are including the South Tipperary town in their expansion plans for digital services.

The wifi will be available for people in the zone between Gladstone Street, O’Connell Street, Mitchel Street and Sarsfield Street.
Commenting on the news, Dave Shanahan, Chief Executive Officer with Tipperary Chamber of Commerce says it will be hugely beneficial for local businesses.
