Free admission to local OPW sites to celebrate National Heritage Week

We’ll be able to enjoy Irish heritage for free next month.

The Office of Public Works has announced free admission to over 80 sites on the 17th and 18th August to mark National Heritage Week.

The Rock of Cashel, Ormonde Castle in Carrick on Suir, Roscrea Castle, Cahir Castle and the Swiss Cottage are among the local historic sites which will be free to visitors.

Other locations include the Casino in Marino and Dublin’s Custom House visitor centre, Charles Fort in Kinsale, Castletown House in Celbridge and the Bru na Boinne visitor centre at Newgrange.
