Four Tipperary players named in Ireland Women’s Six Nations training squad

Fethard’s Beth Buttimer and Nenagh’s Catríona Finn are among eight uncapped players named by Ireland head coach Scott Bemand in his extended squad ahead of the women’s Six Nations.

Another Fethard player Dorothy Wall is also in the squad along with Tipp Town’s Amee-Leigh Costigan

Jane Clohessy, daughter of Munster great Peter, is among those in the 40-player selection.

Co-captain Sam Monaghan has been ruled out of the Championship through injury.

Ireland kick off their campaign with the visit of France to Belfast on Saturday March 22nd.
