Fixtures having huge impact on Tipp clubs

Clubs are dying on their feet, because of the new fixtures structure.

That’s according to St Mary’s Manager Michael Ryan- who is also manager of the Westmeath Senior hurlers.

He says he has had to bring his inter-county players back to training this month, before they play in the first game of the championship on the first Saturday in May.

Michael Ryan says everyone knew it would be difficult to keep April totally free of inter county training and action.
