First win for Rachael Blackmore at 2025 Cheltenham Festival

Rachael Blackmore has gotten her first win of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival.

The Killenaule jockey took 16-to-1 shot ‘Air of Entitlement’ to victory in the Ryanair Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle.

It’s the second time the Tipp woman has partnered with Henry De Bromhead to win this race, after success on ‘Telmesomethinggirl’ in 2021.

It’s Blackmore’s 17th win at the Cheltenham Festival and speaking to ITV after the race, Rachael dedicated the win to her cousin Robert who’s funeral took place today.
