A proposed €80 million wind farm in Tipperary will be decided on by the Court of Justice of the European Union in the coming weeks.
An Bord Pleanála previously granted permission to ESB Wind Development and Coillte for 16 turbines on Keeper Hill in the Silvermines.

This was despite North Tipp County Council’s refusal to give the green light for the project back in 2013.
The Irish Examiner reports that the CJEU will rule on challenge against the project by a group of environmentalists on July 25th.
The case was referred to the Court of Justice of the European Union by the Supreme Court.
