It’s hoped Nenagh will play host to a Brussels delegation this Autumn.
Local Councillor Hughie McGrath who represents Southern Ireland on the EU Committee of Regions has extended the invite to the high profile group when they visit the country in September.

Councillor McGrath is hopeful they can see first hand the arguments he was making last year in terms of the need for European funding for rural towns.
