Essential works complete at Clonmel pool

Clonmel swimming pool is reopening today after being shut down for emergency maintenance.

The local pool was shut down suddenly last week for what it called unplanned maintenance work.

But management said it was essential to ensure it complied with safety standards.

It is returning to normal operations and welcoming swimmers back this morning from 8am after the 7-day closure.
