End of Euro’s for Tipp’s Russell & Ireland U19s following defeat to Netherlands

It’s the end of the Euros for Tipperary’s Maebh Russell and the Ireland women’s U19 team.

Dave Connell’s side were beaten 2-0 in their final group game by the Netherlands in Lithuania this afternoon.

Clonmel’s Maebh Russell started at right back for Ireland in all three group games.

Ireland drew with Spain before losses to Germany and the Netherlands saw them eliminated at the group stages.
