Emergency response to blizzard continues

The impact of the storm overnight and continuing blizzards will be assessed by the National Emergency Coordination Group today.

It will work with local agencies and authorities to co-ordinate the response to the severe weather.

Chair of the NECG – Tipperary native Sean Hogan – says they will prioritise efforts to get the country moving again once the storm passes.
