Over three hundred thousand euro worth of drugs have been seized in Tipperary.
The discovery was made at two seperate locations in Cashel over the weekend.
The first discovery was made after Gardai stopped a van in Cashel in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A search of the vehicle uncovered over thirty thousand euro worth of cannibas resin.
2 people were arrested and detained at Cahir Garda station for questioning.
A subsequent search was conducted of a property in Cashel on Sunday by the Cork Divisional drugs unit, assisted by local Gardai.
There, they uncovered over 280 thousand euro worth of heroin and a further 3 thousand euro worth of cannibas resin.
One man remains in custody for questioning in relation to the discovery this afternoon, while a female has since been released, with a file to be sent to the DPP.
The drugs have been sent for technical analysis.
This sizable seizure follows a major crackdown by Tipperary Gardai on drugs offences with over a hundred euro worth of drugs seized in street searches in Cahir and Cashel in recent days.
