Dublin man charged with Tipp burglary

A man has appeared in court in connection with recent break-ins in Tipperary and neighbouring counties.

Gardaí arrested a 26 year old man in Dublin on Monday and conveyed him to Thurles Garda station.

Thomas Wall with an address at 19 Fortunestown Crescent, Tallaght, Dublin 24 has since been brought before Thurles District Court on a total of five charges

Three of these related to burglaries – including an incident in Twomileborris on September 6th and two at addresses in Laos on September 12th.

The other charges related to possession of drugs for personal use and a theft in Kildare.

Gardaí had objected to bail however Judge Fiona Brennan remanded Wall in custody with consent to bail on conditions including an independent cash surety of €7,500, sign on twice daily at Tallaght Garda station, not leave county Dublin other than for court appearances and abide to a curfew from 9pm to 8am.

Thomas Wall is due back before Thurles District Court next Tuesday.
